Privacy Policy

Hunter Valley Cleaning Services (ABN 98 700 257 398) · Effective 24 July 2026

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you request a quote through our online form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and anything you choose to include in the optional message field. Providing these details is voluntary, but without them we cannot respond to your enquiry.

Like most websites, our infrastructure also processes technical information about requests (such as IP addresses) transiently for security purposes — for example, to limit automated abuse of our forms. We do not use this information to identify you.

How we use your information

We use the details you submit solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare your quote, and — if you become a client — arrange and deliver our cleaning services. We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing, and we never sell or rent personal information to anyone.

How your information is stored

Quote requests are delivered to our business email inbox, which is hosted with an email provider that stores data in Australian data centres. If delivery to our inbox fails, your enquiry is recorded in our private server logs so that it is not lost; those logs are accessible only to us.

Our website is served through a global content delivery network, so technical request data may be processed outside Australia in transit. The details you submit in the quote form are transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that operate our website and email infrastructure, and only to the extent needed to deliver your enquiry to us. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we adopt privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand site usage, it will not be used to personally identify visitors.

Retention

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and, if you become a client, to provide our services and meet our record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected] or calling 0480 229 450. If you are not satisfied with our response to a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and its effective date. Continued use of the website after a change means the updated policy applies.
